If you have a garden, you have everything in this world…. a world of your own, to plant, nurture and grow…. not only plants but your soul!
The owners of this Langwarrin property had downsized from a large garden. While they wanted less maintenance, they still wanted an area to enjoy and entertain friend and family.
In the garden, we incorporated a water feature, feature screens, raised garden beds, faux turf and an automatic gate to the driveway.
We continued the use of bluestone crazy paving throughout the backyard in the raised garden beds and steps. We used hardwood feature screens and steel laser-cut rusted screens in a Moroccan pattern to highlight the back of the gardenandprovide much needed privacy in this smaller backyard. A Mediterranean themed planter was chosen with plants that tolerate low water use, once established. We constructed silver top OB timber to screen the utility area which contained the bins and air conditioning unit. The quality artificial turf eliminates lawn mowing and frees up the owners to spend more time enjoying the garden.
We took an unlevel backyard and used this to create a 2-tiered effect.
After this front and backyard project we completed, we spent a day cleaning all the hard surfaces including the windows to ensure our clients could enjoy their garden right away.
