Transforming a Property into a Serene Oasis: A Major Renovation Project in Mt Eliza

We were engaged to complete a major renovation on a 3rd project with long term clients in Mt Eliza.

The property underwent a complete overall. The house interior and exterior received significant attention, as did the landscape.

The pool was deteriorating and required resurfacing and tiling. Boundary fences were rotten and required replacing. The old spa was removed as was the disused cubby house, disintegrating pool pump screening, truckloads of vegetation that had taken over the backyard, old pool fencing, paving, buried concrete, and bricks were unearthed during the excavation.

The result of 6 months extensive work resulted in a resort like landscape. It satisfies all the outdoor conveniences. The pool was re tiled, and the polished concrete exterior gave the area a contemporary sleek look.

With its backdrop of mature yuccas, you could feel like you're sitting in a 5-star villa in the tropics.

The fireplace and open pergola have a space of its own. Separated by glass fencing it creates a courtyard setting, cosy enough for 2 or large enough for a few friends and a good bottle of wine.

The pool pumps are hidden away in the utility shed hidden behind a custom timber screen at the end of the birch walk.

Let's not forget about our furry friends—the ample lawn on the side of the house provides plenty of room for them to run and play, while the gated side area ensures their safety and keeps them off the gardens.

Feature cypress posts, cypress decking, large-format bluestone paving, off form polished concrete pool surround, recycled timber railway sleeper steppers, and a low-maintenance plant palette.

Unearthing hidden rubble, exposed high voltage illegal electrical work, wet weather that turned the majority of the yard to mud. The volume of spoil that was excavated and removed from site.
